We use cold gluing techniques using two-component EPI system adhesives for wood bonding. The lengthwise joining is carried out with a semi-automatic KADIS length joining line, utilizing PVA, D4 class glues for the joining process. The gluing process is strictly conducted following technological guidelines and is regularly monitored by responsible technicians from the glue manufacturers.
- Glued wood is produced up to a maximum length of 6 meters and can be glued from either continuous or length-joined pieces.
- Maximum dimensions when gluing continuous blanks are 160×230 mm.
- The maximum width of length-joined elements is 145 mm.
- Products used for length joining range from 250 mm to 1100 mm in length.
Glued wood is used in the production of windows and doors, in the furniture industry, for the walls of wooden summer houses, and in construction.
For specific needs, we can produce construction beams longer than 6 meters, using special length-joining milling nodes executed on an automated HUNDEGGER construction production line. This node allows for the formation of construction beams of unlimited length.
